Our promise: Compare. Learn. Choose with confidence.. We compare UK sex toy, lingerie and wellness picks in plain English so you can skip the noise. This page explains how we choose products, use sources and pay for the site.

How we pick products
Our guides and shortlists are researched, not lab-tested. We compare products using public information: retailer and brand specifications (materials, size, power, noise, charging, care), published prices, return and delivery terms, and patterns in verified customer reviews. We favour body-safe materials, clear sizing and UK retailers with discreet packaging and fair returns.
No hands-on testing claims
We don't claim to have personally tested the products we list, and we don't publish star ratings or "tested by" badges. Where we describe how something feels or performs, it's a summary of public specs and recurring themes in customer reviews, and we say so.
How we're funded
Naughty Necessities is free to read and funded by affiliate commission. Some links go to retailers through affiliate networks (for example AWIN), and we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Commission never decides whether a product is included, and pages with affiliate links say so. Brands can't pay to be listed.
How we use sources
Sexual-health and wellbeing guides link to reputable UK sources, mainly the NHS, plus organisations such as Relate and Brook. Each health guide carries a "Last reviewed · Sources" box. Our content is general information, not medical advice: if something worries you, speak to your GP, a pharmacist or a sexual health clinic.
Corrections and updates
Prices and stock change quickly, so we recheck shortlists regularly and show dates on time-sensitive pages. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it.
